Its Raining Dogs?

Gathered insights out of my thesis were put into the game “Itsrainingdogs?“ in order to break with various tropes and existing patterns, to demonstrate, to rattle, and if needed, to wake up, because there are some grievances in video games, as a culturally reproducing medium, which need to be looked at critically (at least initially). This is achieved through the freedom to design a game just for its own sake: since there is no financial pressure for me to make this game, the question could be asked: "What happens when user satisfaction is no longer the main goal of game design?". The game Itsrainingdogs? is characterized by a multitude of breaks and reversals of tropes and patterns, which in turn radically change the gaming experience.
